  • CMA cooperates with PMD on disaster preparedness providing flood prevention suggestions

    From October 11 to 21, Chinese government’s expert team organized by the Ministry of Emergency Response went to Pakistan to conduct post-disaster assessment work after flooding. The expert team is composed of 11 experts from agencies of meteorology, hydrology, disaster relief, disaster condition assessment, flood prevention and control, etc.

  • FY-2H direct data reception station plays its role?for Bangladesh?to?cope?with Sitrang

    ?On October 25 the local time, cyclonic storm Sitrang made landfall in Bangladesh, and incurred heavy winds and rain to the country. In the midst of its landfall, experts from Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization sent the message which said the landing process of Sitrang could be clearly seen by the FENGYUN meteorological satellite and would continue to harness FENGYUN satellite data to keep tabs on the heavy rainfall impacts.

  • FY-3E and FY-4B start pre-operation status to provide services to users
